Summit Active Co. was founded in 2008 by a group of passionate mountaineers who shared a vision of making Canada's incredible wilderness accessible to adventurers of all skill levels. What started as weekend climbing expeditions with friends has evolved into Canada's most trusted adventure tourism company.
Our founders, inspired by their first ascent of Mount Assiniboine, recognized the transformative power of wilderness experiences. They witnessed how challenging outdoor adventures could build confidence, create lasting friendships, and foster a deep appreciation for Canada's natural heritage.
